A Spotless Starling (Sturnus unicolor) perched at the entrance to the nest while carrying a bug on it's beak

Bird Stalking

While walking around the house I heard little birds chirps. First I looked up searching for a nest only to realize that the chirps came from a hole in the tree, almost at eye level.

So I started to place a camera filming the entrance to the nest and afterward watching the footage speeding it up.

It’s a Sturnus unicolor commonly known as a Spotless Starling.

I’ll continue to update this post with more pictures and videos.

Small demo video of the Spotless Starling returning to the nest and then leaving, behaving a bit suspicious because the camera on a tripod had just been placed a few meters from the nest.
